I am running Cyanogen's modern. I was running 4.two.1 for about a week+ (maybe more) when this started happening. I was using google talk when it happened. For some reason, the impact screen and keyboard began fighting. It'due south been crashing every 5 seconds always since. I tin can still Use it.. just it's non functioning properly.

I updated to 4.two.13. Lo' and behold. All the same broken.

How do I set this? Total message reads:

"Sorry! The awarding Impact Input (process com.htc.android.htcime) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force Close"

Please help. I'm going nuts hither.
It's a G1, and it is rooted. Rooted it the day I bought it and accept never had problems until today.

Uninstall and reinstall. If that fails, reflash without wiping and endeavour installing. If you lot're desperate, wipe and flash? I'm not sure if this is 100% correct but it's what I do when it happens.

links would be welcome. .. I want to scale back to a 'lighter' mod. That doesn't slog my telephone downwardly. Cyanogen'due south modern seems to have gotten worse on that forepart lately.

Ooo--before I do this, I need to do a mill reset, right? I'm a fleck of a goober--I've had my buddy do this for me but I need to learn how to exercise information technology myself.

if you want to make clean it out completely

get the rom zip y'all want to install and whack it on the root of your SD carte
reboot your phone into recovery (ability +home)
(i'g assuming your mate flashed the cyan/amon ra recovery when he rooted it for you here)
select wipe/manufactory reset
select use any zip and choose the one you've put on at that place
restart telephone
done

You lot'll lose your apps/letters by doing this, merely the market volition call up what you've bought/downloaded to become them back, or you can dorsum them upwardly and restore with something like fill-in for root users (I've always had issues in the past - if you oasis't got besides many apps, redownloading them doesn't take THAT long).

Also worth noting that If you're flashing cyanogen, you lot have to wink the htc paradigm first, but that'due south all in his thread.

No, yous're fine. Endeavour flashing over again as sometimes a wink doesn't piece of work right and it gives an error. Just flash 3 or 4 more times then come back

I finally figured out how to prepare this. All you lot accept to do is risk the Touch on Input Text Entry Method to Android Keyboard. So go to Messaging, then hold the text box until is say Entry Method and change it from Touch Input to Android Keyboard. Adieu Cheerio Force Close Message!

I bought a HTC wildfire south not fifty-fifty 1 week back....!!!! And today morn i see my telephone the same problem which u said has been coming repeatedly!!! I tried restarting my phone but it was of no utilize.....! At present I have removed the SD menu and information technology is working properly only I'm using the phone without any apps....! this makes my telephone USELESS! Please help!
